Aaron's Ark Mobile Veterinary Clinics were founded in 1999 by Dr. Gregg A. Townsley, DVM, with the determination and commitment to providing a quiet, convenient environment where pets could receive individual care and attention directly from the doctor. The nurses and technicians at AAMVC are personally and efficiently trained by the doctors and each pet is guaranteed to receive the highest level of attention and the best quality of veterinary medicine. We understand that visiting a veterinary clinic can often be a traumatic and stressful ordeal for both pet and owners. Our house call practice and hands-on doctors ensure that each patient will receive convenient, compassionate care without ever having to leave the house!
Dr. Townsley has many years of veterinary experience with a special interest in dermatology, internal medicine, dentistry and orthopedic surgery. He has also written Veterinary advice columns and published several articles over the years.
Most importantly, Dr. Townsley has a true gift and love for animals and is commited to providing each and every patient with convenient, compassionate care.
In addition to his comprehensive veterinary experience and advanced gifting in diagnostic medicine and pet care, Dr. Townsley is also a photographer, musician, motorcyclist, and an outdoor sports enthusiast.

Dr. Gregg A. Townsley, DVM
Dr. Townsley has been practicing veterinary medicine for many years. After obtaining a B.S. in Biology, Dr. Gregg graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He spent his early years practicing veterinary medicine in a well-established and very busy hospital in Palo Alto, California. After 2 1/2 years there, having a desire to leave the Bay Area, Dr. Townsley then took an associate position in an established practice on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. After being in North Tahoe for a short period and recognizing a need for more sophisticated veterinary services, Dr. Townsley then established his own veterinary hospital and operated it as a solo practice for 13 years. This hospital is still operating and is one of the nicest veterinary facilities in Lake Tahoe.
From Lake Tahoe, Dr. Townsley moved to Scottsdale, AZ and started Aaron's Ark Mobile Veterinary Clinics in October of 1999. The mobile veterinary clinics are equipped and licensed to handle diagnostic procedures, dentistry and minor surgery. There is also a complete dentistry and oral surgical set up, treatment area, sterile surgery suite, and hospitalization area at our base in North Scottsdale. This allows Aaron's Ark Mobile Veterinary Clinics to provide full veterinary services from exams, x-rays, vaccinations and dentistry to minor and major surgical procedures. If your pet is in our care and needs overnight hospitalization, you will not need to transfer it to an emergency facility. We will ensure that your pet is provided 24 hour round the clock care if needed whether at our facility or at an emergency hospital.
